Mariska Hartigay Has Competition in Video of Ice-T's Daughter Chanel 'Taking Over' Set of 'Law & Order: SVU'
Move over, Mariska Hargitay, there's a new captain in town!
Ice-T's daughter, Chanel Nicole, recently took over the set of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit—and her mom, Coco Austin, shared a video of the 8-year-old claiming Captain Olivia Benson's office as her own.
On Aug. 2, Austin took to Instagram with a video and photo montage of Chanel's visit to the SVU set.
"Oh no @babychanelnicole is taking over @nbclawandorder!!" she captioned the update. "Watch out directors, camera men and even Olivia Benson's spot! Don't sleep on this chick! She does it all!"
In the clip, Chanel sat at the desk of her dad's SVU character, Sergeant Odafin "Fin" Tutuola and wore headphones while watching Ice-T acting on a screen. The 8-year-old also had the opportunity to test out her skills behind a camera.

Toward the end, Chanel sat at Benson's desk, and her mom cheekily replaced the "Capt. Olivia Benson" name placard with a piece of paper that read, "Capt. Chanel."
In the comments, Hargitay quipped, "Thank God, somebody’s holding down the fort!!!"
Another Instagram user declared, "I see a future producer!"
Someone else shared, "She’s so calm And interested in what she’s doing??… she will be producing and acting (if she wants) in no time… I love how she looks at her father in pure admiration when he’s acting, rapping, or just being dad. She is loved deeply??."
Meanwhile, others couldn't get over the familial resemblance between Ice-T and his daughter. "That little girl stole your whole face. ??," one commented, while another said Chanel is "Daddy's twin."
Yet another fan wrote, "There’s a new detective on the Squad ??."
