The Masked Singer’s Ship Revealed? There’s Nothing ‘Ironic’ About This Exclusive Sneak Peek

You… you… you… oughta know-ow that Ken Jeong has absolutely no idea what he’s talking about in this exclusive clip from tonight’s episode of The Masked Singer (Fox, 8/7c).

Despite correctly guessing the first two unmasked contestants of Season 12, Jeong is way off in his prediction for the Ship. Describing her as one of his “leading ladies,” Jeong confidently declares that the celebrity beneath the costume is none other than Alanis Morissette.

But is the beloved Canadian songstress really under there? We’re not convinced. In fact, based on the Ship’s clues thus far — plus a healthy dash of online sleuthing — we’re pretty sure that the celebrity in question is actually Paula Cole.

Following the reveals of John Elway as Leaf Sheep and Yvette Nicole Brown as Songbird, three mystery characters remain in Group A — Ship, Woodpecker and Buffalos. (And that last one is actually three people.) Only one will remain after tonight’s double elimination, with the winner of Group A moving ahead to the competition’s next round.

(Spoiler alert: We’re 100% certain that black-ish star Marsai Martin is the Woodpecker, while Buffalos were instantly recognized by fans as the iconic group Boyz II Men.)
