Gold Derby’s official guess for Royal Knight is … Jessie James Decker! Don’t believe us? Let’s examine all of the clues, one by one:

Masked Ambassador Clues

Royal Knight’s ambassador is Savannah Chrisley, aka Afghan Hound from Season 11, who states, “It’s no secret that my life has been pretty rough lately, but I am here to introduce to you the toughest woman I know, Royal Knight … You are one of the fiercest friends that I have, and I think that tonight for your performance, you’re gonna slay.” Savannah and Jessie have been spotted out together several times, and they even showed off their softball skills together at the City of Hope Celebrity Softball game way back in 2017. These two go way back!

Audio Clues

Here is what Royal Knight has to say about herself: “Thanks, sis. I’ll take it from here. Chapter one: As a young girl I thought I’d have that fairytale life. So, I went on a quest for it, but it turns out mine was no fantasy. There was heartbreak and terror behind every corner and I quickly had to learn to protect myself with layers of armor, until I became the warrior I am today. I had to break free of the idea of a ‘you and I’ and learn how to be, well, me. Now, I don’t care about castles or kings, as long as I’m giving ‘main character energy.'” Jessie has spoken publicly about her anxiety, low self-esteem, and body image issues. She’s also had a very public rift with various family members, leaving the celebrity “heartbroken.” That terror she speaks of could be in reference to that terrifying day a Nashville school shooting happened two miles away from her home, leading a tearful Jessie to assure fans that her kids “were safe.”

Visual Clues

First week: On-screen hints during Royal Knight’s video package include the following: story books, a glass slipper, a red fire-breathing dragon, a TV remote, a gold megaphone that says “The T,” green trees, and a bunch of butterflies. The TV remote references Jessie’s reality TV show she shared with her husband, Eric Decker. “Eric & Jessie: Game On” aired on E! and followed their journey to the altar. The wedding was referred to as her “fairytale ending.” The singer was also a contestant on Season 31 of “Dancing With the Stars.” The megaphone is a shout-out to her high school cheerleading days, and the storybooks could be a reference to the fact she’s a New York Times best-selling author.

Second week: On “Miley Cyrus Night” we saw a “Wanted” sign, which happens to be the name of Jessie’s lead single from her 2009 debut album. A heart on fire is a nod to her song “Burn It Up,” which is about setting fire to a relationship filled with heartbreak. A love interest wearing a full suit of armor is Eric Decker, her husband who played football for the Tennessee Titans. He also played for the Denver Broncos, the favorite football team of Scott Porter aka Season 11’s Gumball, which was also seen in Royal Knight’s clue package.

In-Person Clues

First week: Following her performance of “You and I,” the Men in Black bring out a hoodie that says, “Ready to Sleigh” on it. Royal Knight responds, “No matter the season, I’m always ready to ‘sleigh’ the competition.” Jessie has release two holiday albums: “On This Holiday” and “Decker the Halls.”

Second week: In the following episode, a road sign the Nashville led the star to say, “Just like ‘Party in the U.S.A.,’ Miley and I would both prefer a Nashville party.” Jessie is a Nashville resident.
