Massive Art Installation Appears on Dublin Beach Ahead of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Show: 'It Wasn't AI'

Yet another European city has been Swiftie-fied!

Taylor Swift continued to spread the Eras Tour mania with a stop in Dublin, Ireland this weekend, where she will perform three back-to-back shows at the Aviva Stadium.

Ahead of the concert on Friday, June 28, a beach in the Irish capital was transformed into a massive art installation in honor of Swift. A now-viral photo of the display, taken from an aerial view of the beach, showed the words "Ireland (Taylor's Version)," spelled out in bold black letters across the sand.

Fans immediately began wondering if the design was created using AI, which other cities have done when welcoming Swift, 34, throughout various stops on the tour. (The AI-produced video of the Eiffel Tower being taken over by friendship bracelets is an example that comes to mind.)

But according to Irish radio station Today FM, the photo of the Dublin beach design was completely real—and it's enormous in real life.

"It wasn't photoshop. It wasn't AI. It was very real! And it was the size of 2 Olympic swimming pools," the radio station wrote in a post on X while sharing a video of how the larger-than-life sign was created.

As seen in the clip, workers from the radio station and the signage company Mack Signs were tasked with setting up giant pieces of black tarp to spell out the Swiftie message, and after hours of labor, the masterpiece was finally completed.

"Happy Taylor Swift day," the post on X continued. "We had to mark the occasion by working with Mack Signs to put a 100m installation on a Dublin beach."

Swift will kick off her three-night show in Dublin on Friday, June 28, followed by two more shows on June 29 and 30, before she heads to her next stop: Amsterdam.
