Matthew Lillard has been a star for decades but has impressively kept a low profile when it comes to his personal life. However, he recently gave fans some super-rare details about how his kids are doing, and which one doesn’t give “zero effs” about acting.

Now, before we get started, let’s talk about his sweet family of five. For those who don’t know, Lillard has been married to Heather Helm since 2000. They originally met back in 1998, and for Lillard, it was love at first sight. Since then, they’ve welcomed three children named Allison Grace Lillard, born in June 2002, Macey Lyn Lillard, born in Oct 2004, and Liam Lillard, born in April 2008.

Okay, back to the present: In a recent interview with EOnline, Matthew gave details about what his three kids’ passions are. His eldest is an artsy kid, having graduated from USC’s Roski School of Art, and Macey is a budding actor. However, his youngest, Liam, “gave zero effs” about acting.

“He was like, ‘I want nothing to do with that. Nothing about that is appealing to me,’” Matthew laughed, talking about how Liam is all about sports.

But like we said, his middle child, Macey, is all about acting, and Matthew revealed that he’s grateful that they’ve seen the highs and lows of his career for themselves.

“The good thing for me is that my kids have seen ebbs and flows. They know the reality of the business. I never pushed anyone into it, but I certainly wouldn’t deny the passion of my kids, who are both artists.” (We love a supportive dad here, and this just shows how he’s raised three pretty awesome, passionate kids!)

These celebrities are focused on raising their kids to be good humans.
