Maude Apatow joined the star-studded Gucci party co-hosted by Miley Cyrus on July 19 at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont. The “Euphoria” star repped Gucci in a white ensemble which she juxtaposed with a soaring pair of Gucci platform loafers.
Apatow was ready to celebrate dressed mostly in white, a classic summertime color. The “Euphoria” actress wore a crisp and clean A-line skirt that fell to mid-thigh; this was matched to a structured jacket zipped all the way up to its sharp collar. Adding a bit of contrast and delineating between skirt and top was a thin Gucci belt bearing the brand’s G logo. Accenting the classic black and white aesthetic was a handbag featuring horsebit hardware.
$1,490
Standing tall in well-coordinated footwear, Apatow wore the Women’s Gucci Horsebit Platform Loafer. Retailing for $1,490, the Italian-crafted shoe is made of leather and features the brand’s signature gold-toned horsebit in the center. The platform, described by Gucci as lightweight, measures 3.5 inches in the back and 2.5 inches in the front. The shoe is also available in dark brown leather. Apatow has shown her love of platforms before, wearing an elevated pair of black pumps while appearing on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” in 2023.
Platforms were one type of trending shoe at the celebratory Gucci event. Olympic athlete Chloe Kim was present and wore a pair of multi-colored platform sandals; Salma Hayek, meanwhile, wore shiny black peep-toe sandals at the party, pairing them with an on-theme floral dress from the brand.
Additional stars in attendance at the event included Kendall Jenner, Kim Petras and of course, host Miley Cyrus, who performed her Grammy-winning song “Flowers” at the floral-themed event.
