Maya Hawke Blooms in Floral Prada Sandals and Velvet Gown for ‘Inside Out 2’ Premiere

Maya Hawke was a vision in Prada at the world premiere of Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” in Los Angeles on June 10. The actress, who voices Anxiety in the upcoming film, wore a velvet green gown with floral sandals, both by the Italian brand.

The “Stranger Things” star wore a floral dress made of crushed velvet in a vibrant shade of emerald. The sleeveless gown featured a classic A-line silhouette, tightening at the waist and blossoming into a full, structured skirt. The dress included whimsical floral embroidery across the skirt, with small yellow blossoms scattered about the green fabric like wildflowers in a field.

Also featuring a floral design, Hawke’s footwear aligned with the theme of her dress. The black satin Prada sandals included a relatively low 1.3-inch heel in a unique triangular shape bearing the Prada insignia. The shoes feature a colorful band of patterned fabric across the toes as well as a strap around the ankle. They retail for $1,220 and are also available in a white floral pattern.

Meanwhile at the “Inside Out 2” premiere, Amy Poehler kept with the floral theme in a floor-length white dress while Ayo Edebiri wore a pale blue suit and black sandals.

Hawke has previously shown off her style at red carpet events, including the premiere of “Wildcat,” a film she worked on alongside her father, Ethan Hawke, who directed the project. She wore black leather ballet flats for the event and joked to FN that her mother, Uma Thurman, “by far” has a bigger closet. Elsewhere, the younger Hawke wore black leather below-the-knee boots for Dior’s Spring 2024 show in Paris last fall.

“Inside Out 2” is in theaters June 14.
