Megan Fox's Surprise Pregnancy Announcement Channels Her Most Iconic Horror Character
It’s official: Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are expecting a baby together, and the way Fox announced it is nothing short of cosmic. In fact, we’re totally picking up Jennifer’s Body vibes from this photo, and we’re obsessed.
On Nov 11, Fox announced the news on Instagram with an edgy photoshoot, captioning her maternity photo: “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back ??????.”

Now, in the first photo, as we said, we’re getting all the Jennifer’s Body vibes. As Fox cradles her baby bump, she looks so insanely gorgeous and is covered in a black, oily slime. The darkness! The subtle, edgy horror vibes. This is so Jennifer’s Body-coded.
(For those who don’t know, Jennifer’s Body is a 2009 horror film starring Fox and Amanda Seyfried. It follows Fox, who is possessed by a demon and killing boys at their high school, and Seyfriend is trying to stop it.)
Now, while we’re obsessed with the photo (and the positive pregnancy test pic following it), we need to talk about that tear-inducing caption. The caption seemingly refers to how she and Kelly tragically lost a baby after a miscarriage.
Fox told Good Morning America in Nov 2023 that she suffered a miscarriage.
“I had never been through anything like that before in my life,” she said. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean? Why did this happen?'”

For those that don’t know, Fox and Kelly met back in 2020 on the film Midnight in the Switchgrass. They got together in June 2020, and by Jan 2022, Kelly proposed to Fox. However, in Feb 2023, Fox posted a cryptic Instagram post, along with unfollowing him and deleting posts of them together — which started the breakup rumors.
In 2024, Fox confirmed they ended their engagement, but it seems the two are still quite happily together!
This will be Fox and Kelly’s first child together. Fox has three sons with ex Brian Austin Green named Noah, born in 2012, Bodhi, born in 2014, and Journey, born in 2016. As for Kelly, he shares a daughter named Casie, born in 2009, with his ex Emma Cannon.
