Megan Thee Stallion is recalling an uncomfortable moment.

The "WAP" rapper called out Gayle King for asking if she had a sexual relationship with Torey Lanez before their 2020 shooting incident during her CBS Mornings interview.

“Why is you asking me about f--king Tory?" Megan said in her Amazon Prime documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words. "That’s not what this is about. Even if I was."

And while the Grammy winner shared that she indeed had sex with Tory "like once, maybe twice on a drunk night," she admitted to lying during the conversation to avoid discussing a topic that she felt was irrelevant to the July 2020 incident, in which the rapper shot at and wounded her feet after leaving a party together.

"Yes, b---h. I lied to Gayle King, b---h," Megan explained. "First of all, I ain’t know that b---h was even finna ask me about that s--t. I thought we was gonna talk about this shooting."

E! News reached out to a rep for Gayle for comment but has not heard back.

In April 2022, Megan sat down with Gayle for an in-depth interview about her incident with the "Say It" rapper, born Daystar Peterson, who was found guilty in December 2022 on three felony counts including discharging a firearm with gross negligence, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle over the shooting. Tory—who pled not guilty to all three charges but did not take the stand in his defense during the trial—was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

“What was the nature of your relationship with Tory Lanez because he has led people to believe that it was a sexual relationship," Gayle asked Megan on CBS Mornings at the time, "that you two were dating? What was the nature?”

And when Megan initially responded that they were "not dating" but were "really close" friends who "hung out, like, every day," the TV personality pressed further.

"Did you have an intimate relationship with him?” Gayle asked again, to which the 29-year-old replied, “Like sexual? Um, I didn’t have a sexual relationship with Tory.”

Eight months later, Megan admitted that her answer was a lie during the shooting's trial, and she has since spoken out about how public backlash about the incident impacted her mentally.

"A lot of people didn't treat me like I was human for a long time," Megan told Women's Health in an April interview. "I feel like everybody was always used to me being the fun and happy party girl. I watched people build me up, tear me down, and be confused about their expectations of me."

As for Tory—who began serving his sentence in 2023—he has since appealed his convictions and maintained his innocence, writing in an Instagram Post following the court's decision, "Regardless of how they spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will.”
