“Working with True Religion is such a full-circle moment,” the Houston-born rapper, whose legal name is Megan Pete, said. “I’ve been a fan of the brand since I was a kid, so it’s really exciting to star in this campaign and bring in the ‘Hot Girl Holidays’ in a special way.”
The 360-degree campaign will feature paid content on YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and more. Digital assets will also be available on truereligion.com, in apps and through email and SMS outreach to shoppers throughout the season. Additionally, nearly 50 True Religion stores across the country will display life-size imagery of Megan and Hunxho, the California-based brand said.
True Religion will also host an event with Megan called “Where Wishes Come True,” a community-driven initiative providing holiday gifts for those in need, in partnership with the Pete & Thomas Foundation.
“We’re very excited to partner with Megan Thee Stallion for this incredible campaign,” said Michael Buckley, CEO of True Religion. “She’s the absolute perfect face for our women’s business right now, which is seeing double-digit growth vs last year.”
The collection features a range of Y2K-inspired pieces, including the Ricky Super QT Relaxed Jean, which showcases silver hardware, bold metallic lurex stitching and distinctive horseshoe detailing on the back flap pockets. It also includes the Super T Crop Denim Jacket, designed with a basic collar, button-front closures and a cropped hem.
The collection retails for $15.99-$179.00 and is available now on True Religion’s website and its retail locations.
