Megan Thee Stallion Still Doesn’t Know “What The Problem Is” Between Her And Nicki Minaj

Megan Thee Stallion sent shots at Nicki Minaj with her early 2024 release “Hiss” in response to previous subliminals sent her way from the Queens MC. In a new cover story interview with Billboard, the Houston native reveals that she still doesn’t know exactly why Minaj doesn’t like her, but felt the need to defend herself with the aforementioned record anyway.

“I still to this day don’t know what the problem is,” she told Billboard‘s Carl Lamarre. “I don’t even know what could be reconciled because I, to this day, don’t know what the problem is.”

“Hiss” not only took aim at Minaj, but her husband, Kenneth Petty, with its now infamous line regarding “Megan’s Law,” a federal law that requires law enforcement to make information about registered sex offenders public. Petty is a registered sex offender following his 1995 conviction on attempted first-degree rape in connection with a 1994 assault that took place when he and the victim were both between the ages of 15 and 16. He served four years for the assault. Petty was later incarcerated for seven years on a first-degree manslaughter conviction.

The jab resulted in Minaj shooting back with “Big Foot,” where she accused Megan of sleeping with her late mother’s boyfriend and several rappers/producers. She also accused the Hot Girl of lying about being shot by Tory Lanez and of “lying on yo dead mama,” a line many, including Charlamagne Tha God, thought went too far.
