Megan Thee Stallion and RM are joining forces for new song, “Neva Play.” The Houston rapper announced their collaborative single on Sunday. It arrives on Sept. 6.

“NEVA PLAY WITH RM OUT FRIDAY HOTTIES X ARMY,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing the hashtag #MEGJOON along with the single’s cover art. The cover’s drawing features Megan with blue hair holding fanned-out cash, while RM looks over his shoulder behind her.

Megan added in the caption, “ps. This is one of my favorite RM verses I’ve heard! I’ve never heard him rap in this style before.” BTS’ official X (formerly Twitter) account also shared the cover art, adding that the song will arrive “Sep 6, 1PM (KST) | 0AM (ET).”

She and BTS began teasing the collab last week, with Megan tweeting a series of emojis on Thursday that included a stallion horse and a purple heart, which fans speculated as a tip to BTS. On Friday, BTS confirmed the news, retweeting Megan’s post and writing “Coming Soon!”

Megan previously teamed up with BTS in summer 2021 for their remix of megahit “Butter,” and she joined the boy band that fall to perform it live for the first time in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium.

Megan Thee Stallion —  who released her third studio album, Megan, on June 28 — is gearing up to host the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 11. She’s also up for five awards, including Best Collaboration for “Wanna Be” with GloRilla and Best Hip-Hop for “BOA.”

Meanwhile, BTS have paused full band activities until 2025 as the members complete their mandatory military service in South Korea, although individually they’ve been working on projects. Most recently, Jimin’s solo album Muse arrived in July, and he teamed up with bandmate Jung Kook for travel series Are You Sure?! that debuted on Disney+ last month. Jin also served as a torchbearer during the Paris Summer Olympics in July.
