Meghan Markle and other celebs celebrate International Women's Day
Women all over the world are celebrating International Women’s Day, including some of your favorite celebrities.
Future royal Meghan Markle, along with her fiancé, Prince Harry, made an appearance in the city of Birmingham in England to talk about women’s issues with the locals. Markle, who’s long been an advocate for women’s rights, and Harry visited Millennium Point, an organization that helps inspire female scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
During the visit, Harry met 10-year-old Sophia Richards, who expressed her desire to be an actress like Markle. Harry brought her over to meet his fiancée, and the two shared a sweet embrace.

But women weren’t the only ones celebrating International Women’s Day. Men also took the time to honor the women in their lives.
Something has changed. Something is different. As I look around & see women standing up 4 equality & equal opportunity, shattering glass ceiling & status quos, I am grateful & energized. Today is #internationalwomensday but tomorrow I will continue 2 stand w/ u & fight by ur side
