Meghan Markle’s A-List pals Mindy Kaling, Tracee Ellis Ross show off American Riviera Orchard jams she gifted to just 50 people
Meghan Markle’s celebrity pals have flocked to social media to show off the exclusive jam jars they’ve received from her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.
Mindy Kaling, an award-winning actress and longtime friend of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, was one of 50 people who received a jam jar from Markle.
“Obsessed,” the “Office” actress, who played Kelly Kapoor on the hit show, wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a snap of her strawberry jelly.
Elsewhere, actress Tracee Ellis Ross, the daughter of Diana Ross, was also a recipient of American Riviera Orchard’s first drop, including a bag of fresh lemons.
Kaling, for her part, has enjoyed a friendship with the Sussexes for a few years and even appeared on the “Suits” alum’s now-defunct “Archetypes” podcast in 2022.
Last week, the “Mindy Project” star joined Prince Harry, 39, as he hosted a “Beyond Burnout” session during a summit held by the life coaching app BetterUp.
Kaling also spoke at the panel, discussing how best to lead with “levity and creativity” in all aspects of life, especially motherhood.
As for Markle’s friendship with Ross, the pair appear to have been pals recently, though it’s unclear when or where they initially met.
The duo attended one of Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” world tour concerts in Los Angeles last summer but were not pictured together at the sold-out gig.
Earlier this week, Designer Tracy Robbins, who became close pals with Markle after they attended the “One Love” film premiere in Jamaica, received a jam jar from the Duchess.
Argentinian model Delfina Blaquier, the wife of Prince Harry’s close friend and polo player Nacho Figueras, also received a gift.

According to those close to Markle, the brand’s name is a sweet nod to Santa Barbara, Calif., as it has been nicknamed the “American Riviera” for over a century.
The location is also where she and her husband reside with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The American Riviera Orchard website is currently blank, only asking visitors to provide their email if they want to be notified about “products, availability, and updates” from the brand.
Additionally, a trademark application reveals the brand plans to sell tableware, drinkware including decanters, kitchen linens, and edible treats such as jellies, jams, marmalade, and spreads.
The trademark application is awaiting examination and is seeking approval for cookbooks.
