Meghan Markle wraps filming on her new Netflix show: ‘All went well’
And that’s a wrap!
Meghan Markle has reportedly finished filming her upcoming show for Netflix — and insiders say that it “all went well.”
While details about the “Suits” alum’s new project remain scarce, the series will reportedly be centered around cooking and wellness.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have two new nonfiction projects with the streaming giant — with the the other a series being focused on polo.
Both programs fall under the deal they signed with Netflix under their Archewell Productions company.
A source told the Daily Beast that filming just wrapped, adding that “it all went well and it is in the can.”
The American Riviera Orchard entrepreneur, 42, was recently spotted filming in a park in Beverly Hills.
In a TikTok video shared by the LA Girl, the exiled royal can be seen with her entourage as one of her staffers rolled up her sleeves for her.
The show was filmed at a residential property just a few miles from Markle and Prince Harry’s posh $14 million Montecito, California, home.
“Netflix has rented a house in Montecito for filming,” a source told the Daily Mail in April.
The Post has reached out to Markle’s reps for comment.
That same month, the mom of two said in a statement her show will “celebrate the joys of cooking & gardening, entertaining, and friendship.”
It will be produced by Sony Pictures Television, as well as Markle herself, and will likely collaborate with Markle’s new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
The company will release a variety of products, including jam, tableware, drinkware and other spreads. It has so far revealed its line of jams and dog biscuits.
In February, Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria revealed what types of projects Harry and Markle are working on under their estimated $100 million deal with the platform.
“They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon [Riegg, the head of unscripted shows at Netflix],” Bajaria said.
“And they actually have like a bunch of development. They have a movie in development; a [scripted] series that they’re working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV show and a couple of unscripted shows. But yeah, the movie’s great.”
The couple’s previous collaboration with Netflix — a docuseries titled “Harry & Meghan” — proved to be a massive hit after its release in December 2022.
The pair provided an intimate look into their new life in sunny California after stepping down as senior members of the royal family in January 2020.
They also executive-produced Netflix’s docuseries “Live To Lead,” which focused on trailblazers such as New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Greta Thunberg, Gloria Steinem and Equal Justice Initiative attorney Bryan Stevenson.
The project was closely followed by “Heart of Invictus,” a documentary following athletes preparing for the Harry-founded Invictus Games, which hit the streamer in August 2023.
Also that month, author Carley Fortune confirmed Archewell is adapting her romance novel “Meet Me at the Lake” for Netflix.
