Meghan Markle's Email Signature Suggests She's Not the Demanding Boss She's Accused of Being
Meghan Markle‘s most loyal staff are stacking up all the evidence that shows she’s not the difficult boss she’s accused of being and one of the many things working in her favor is her thoughtful email signature.
In a lengthy Sept. 23 report shared by Us Weekly, several current and former staff who currently or formerly worked for Markle and Prince Harry shared their positive experiences with the couple. One anonymous current staffer was quick to point to the Duchess of Sussex’s thoughtful note at the end of her emails to encourage work-life balance.

“My working day may not be your working day. Please do not feel obliged to reply to this email outside your normal working hours,” Markle’s email sign-off reportedly reads.
On Sept. 12, The Hollywood Reporter released a scathing report about Markle’s allegedly demanding attitude towards her employees, alleging that the former actress frequently sends angry emails to team members at 5 am. “She’s absolutely relentless,” said one source. “She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears.”
However, Us Weekly’s sources had a different experience. A current staffer claimed they have “never” heard Markle raise her voice and said that she always “gives clear direction and is solution-oriented.” They added that she is “compassionate and understanding” when it comes to employees needing time off for illness or family commitments.
A former employee claimed Markle is all about giving credit where credit is due. “If you’re in a meeting and a great idea is referenced, she makes sure to give props to the person who generated the idea,” the former staffer said. “[After] a big trip, every employee gets a personal email thanking them for their contribution in making it a success.”
Other sources shared accounts of Markle and Prince Harry’s generosity, claiming that parents-to-be who work for the couple receive new gifts and top-notch items directly from their own collections, “like unused car seats and baby items they no longer need.”
“When I adopted my dog, the next day, I had a luxury brand leash and new collar on my doorstep,” said a former staffer.
“They want to take care of us,” a current employee said. “Meghan will do things like, ‘You mentioned on the call your skin is bothering you, I put together a kit for you.'”
“Whenever staff goes to their house, they leave with a basket with fresh flowers, fresh fruit, fresh eggs.”
