Melania Trump's spokeswoman wants to boycott T.I. over racy video featuring first lady look-alike
Melania Trump‘s spokeswoman thinks T.I. went too far in his latest music video.
“Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye,” T.I. wrote in a Twitter post on Saturday that included a music video promoting his new album, Dime Trap. The video shows a clip of President Trump leaving the White House in a helicopter as T.I. sits behind his desk in the Oval Office. A Melania look-alike enters, wearing the first lady’s controversial “I really don’t care” jacket, heels, and nothing else. After she takes off her clothes for the rapper, he leads her out of the Oval.
On Twitter, FLOTUS’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, called the video “disgusting” and urged people to boycott the rapper.
“How is this acceptable?” she asked.
Dear 45,
I ain’t Kanye. 😳 pic.twitter.com/BCS8nkbn1M— T.I. (@Tip) October 13, 2018

Grisham has plenty of experience defending the first lady against negative portrayals in media. The day before T.I. posted his video, Grisham took to Twitter to call out actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who on The View claimed that FLOTUS had been Trump’s mistress before they were married.
“Check your facts before you accuse someone of being a mistress,” Grisham tweeted at Brown. “She’s your @FLOTUS — she deserves your respect & certainly not your lies. Disgusting.”
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders also spoke out about Brown’s comment:
Sad @TheView continues their disgusting attacks on @FLOTUS. The left’s “war on women” they disagree with is a disgrace. @FLOTUS is strong, accomplished, and has a lot more class than the women who bully her

While the White House was outraged over both T.I.’s music video and Brown’s remark, many people pointed out that her support of Trump’s false claims that former President Barack Obama wasn’t born in the United States indicated that Mrs. Trump shares his political beliefs. A clip of her appearing on CNN’s The Joy Behar Show in 2011 shows her explicitly standing by the birther claims and asserting that the American people wanted to see Obama’s birth certificate.
This whole pity tour for Melania Trump is laughable. She was a racist birther (evidence found in video of her appearance on Joy Behar’s HLN show), and she stood by Trump as he bullied multiple people, races & companies.
Respect is earned & not just given bc you are First Lady.

pretending melania isn’t a racist birther is one of the weirdest media coverups. @TomLlamasABC when she told you sexual assault victims shouldn’t be believed unless they have “evidence” how do you not ask her “did you have evidence when you said obama was born in kenya?” https://t.co/gOvTvLm1IX

Birther Queen Melania Trump says she wore the ‘I really don’t care’ jacket “for the people and for the left-wing media who are criticizing me. And I want to show them that I don’t care.” Cuz she is all about bringing people together. Hey, #BeBest! pic.twitter.com/LP39Bda2ID

T.I. hasn’t called Melania a birther but has openly criticized President Trump and said he’s “officially done” with West because of West’s support for the president.
“This is the most repulsive, disgraceful, embarrassing act of desperation & auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen,” T.I. wrote on Instagram after West met with Trump in the Oval Office last week. “If you listen closely you can hear the tears of our ancestors hit the floor.”
