Melissa Joan Hart Shares Photo from Night She Met Husband Mark Wilkerson 22 Years Ago: 'I Knew He Was My Forever!'

The Kentucky Derby has Melissa Joan Hart feeling nostalgic!

On Saturday, May 4, the Sabrina the Teenage Witch alum, 48, shared a photo on Instagram of herself and her husband, Mark Wilkerson, taken on the night they met while celebrating the famous horse race in 2002.

"22 years ago right now... I saw this tall guy with a shaved ahead across a stage and after a shot of vodka (don't ask) and this photo was taken, I knew he was my forever! #KentuckyDerby #GettinLuckyinKentucky," the actress captioned the photo.

The future spouses stood next to each other smiling in the photo. Wilkerson, 47, wore a blue button-down shirt and had his arm around Hart, who was wearing a light pink halter top.

The musician and Clarissa Explains It All alum were engaged within seven months of meeting each other and married in 2003. They are now parents to three sons.

The director and executive producer also shared the story of the night she first met her husband in an Instagram post back in 2018.

“In 2002, a girl from New York told her mother she met a boy from Alabama at the Kentucky Derby that she was going to marry," she wrote in the caption. "14 months later they were married in Italy, and within 5 years had 2 bouncing beautiful baby boys while living a blessed life in Los Angeles."

In April, Hart shared a sweet montage of her son Mason and his girlfriend (coincidentally named Sabrina) before they went to their prom with friends.

“Prom 2024 is in the books! Mason and his beautiful girlfriend Sabrina (yes that’s her name) had a lovely night celebrating the end of an era! #MasonDatesSabrina,” the Drive Me Crazy star captioned her Instagram and TikTok posts.

Mason, 18, is Hart and Wilkerson's oldest son, followed by Braydon, 16, and Tucker, 11.

In 2018, the actress shared her secrets for keeping her marriage strong and healthy.

"We do day dates, we do lunches, we work out together a lot," Hart said, jokingly adding that she and Wilkerson even send each other "dirty gifs."
