Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone’s Disgusting Food Challenge
Melissa McCarthy and her husband, Ben Falcone, stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to play a cooking game called Smooshed. The Hollywood couple had 20 seconds to create original dishes that would be judged by Colbert. The ingredients at their disposal were as follows: saltine crackers, marshmallows, and bacon bits. Once the 20 seconds were up, Colbert tasted each dish and gave his review. “Bravo, I’m getting all of the ingredients. I’m getting very smoky bacon bits, a crunch. It’s both tart and dry at the same time,” Colbert said about Falcone’s masterpiece. After barely swallowing the creation, the host braved tasting McCarthy’s. The actress’s dish was not as put-together as her husband’s, so Colbert was forced to use a spoon. “There is a certain testicularity to this meal” was the only “nice” thing he could say about the delicacy.
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
