What Melissa Rivers Thinks Her Mother Joan Would Have Said About Travis Kelce’s Fashion Choices

While a lot of people pay attention to Travis Kelce these days for his football career or relationship with singer Taylor Swift, he also has a passion for fashion, rocking interesting outfits from his own wardrobe often.

Now, Melissa Rivers, the daughter of comedian and Fashion Police host Joan Rivers, considered what her late mother would've had to say about Kelce's fashion sense.

As Joan was known for her often harsh opinions on fashion, Melissa shared with DailyMail.com that she doesn't believe her mom would've been a fan of Kelce's closet, saying, "I think she would hate how Travis dresses."

She explained that Joan probably would've considered Kelce's fashion in connection with Swift's style, saying, "I can tell you that point blank and her whole thing is like, 'When is [Swift] going to get in his closet.' That would be her acceptance that this is a real relationship, any mother would believe it then."

Melissa added that Joan might've said to Swift, "Honey, I know you love him, now let’s redress him."

The 56-year-old, who also appeared on Fashion Police with her mother, would've mostly agreed with Joan when it comes to Kelce and Swift, telling the publication that she loves that the singer is "just letting him be him but let’s get him in something else," suggesting that he tone down the strong patterns and trends to be more subtle.

As for the romance between Swift and Kelce, which started in the middle of 2023, Melissa also shared what she thinks Joan's opinion on the couple would've been, saying that her mother "would love that Taylor is happy."

Joan passed away in 2014 at the age of 81, and she is remembered for her illustrious career in the entertainment industry and her strong opinions on anything and everything, with Joan known to not hold back.
