New Mexico State Fair holding auditions to sing the National Anthem
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Do you have what it takes to sing the National Anthem at the State Fair? If you think you might, you can audition virtually or in person.
Live auditions will be held at the EXPO New Mexico on August 6, 2024. The live auditions will be at the Boxcar Stage from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. To audition live, you must sign up by August 5. Info can be found at this link.
New Mexico likely to drop out of top states for traffic deaths
Virtual auditions can be submitted any time before Monday, August 5. Individuals and groups can apply, but groups are limited to four members. Judges will gauge the overall performance, the accuracy of the lyrics, and the melody. Performers of any age can apply.
