Michael Keaton Gets Ready to Step Into the Ring, Bares All in ‘Saturday Night Live’ Promo
Michael Keaton makes his return to Saturday Night Live this weekend for the first time in nearly 10 years.
In his promo for the late night sketch comedy series, the Oscar-nominated actor prepares to step into the proverbial SNL ring. As he warms up, an announcer speaks as they would at an actual match.

“Starting at host. He’s an actor from Pennsylvania,” the announcer says. “He’s 7-foot, 3-inches tall, 295 pounds,” as Keaton shakes his head and says, “No.”
The announcement only gets sillier and more bizarre from there.
“You may know him from his hit character, Beetlejuice,” he says. “His favorite food is minced garlic in a bowl,” to which Keaton replies, “What?” The announcer continues, “He graduated from the University of Beijing for computer science in 2006. Now he’s developing a line of organic farm-to-table crack cocaine.”
At that reference, the Emmy-winning actor stops warming up and says, “Wait a minute. Where’s this coming?”
“Either way, he’s hosting Saturday Night Live this week with musical guest Billie Eilish,” the announcer concludes. “It’s Michael Keaton.”
Like many boxers do in the ring, the Goodrich star then went to rip off his workout pants, only to reveal he accidentally forgot to put on his uniform.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry. I am so sorry. Oh Lord, oh good God,” he proclaims as he runs off the set in Studio 8H.
The hosting gig marks Keaton’s first since 2015 and his fourth overall. Billie Eilish serves as the musical guest for the fourth time as well.
