Michelle Pfeiffer Just Revealed Huge Career News — And We Promise, You're Not Ready for It

Rumors have been swirling about the next installment in the Yellowstone universe, with names like Matthew McConaughey, Kurt Russell, and Patrick J. Adams all attached to the franchise. Finally, we have confirmation about one of the spinoffs: Madison, formerly touted as 2024, will star Academy Award nominee Michelle Pfeiffer.
Michelle Pfeiffer, known for her roles in Fabulous Baker Boys, What Lies Beneath, and, most recently, Ant Man and the Wasp, will also serve as executive producer for the series.
Paramount is describing the new show as "a heartfelt study of grief and human connection, following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana."
Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President/CEO, Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios, says, "Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace. She is the perfect anchor to the newest chapter of the Yellowstone universe, Madison, from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan."
No additional details about the series have been released. Paramount has not disclosed who will be starring alongside Michelle, or how her character will relate to the Dutton family. We'll have to wait to see when Madison will premiere, and if it will air on Paramount+ like the other Yellowstone spinoffs, or on Paramount Network.
Madison isn't the only Yellowstone spinoff in the works. Paramount has previously announced 1944, although no details have been released, and 6666 (Four Sixes) seems to be on hold. The second season of 1923 is in production, and the final episodes of Yellowstone are filming now.
