Michelle Wolf: What to Say to Trump Admin.
It’ll come as no surprise that, in the debate over the degree of politeness the public owes members of the Trump administration, Michelle Wolf isn’t team civility. In a segment for her Netflix show The Break with Michelle Wolf, the comedian offered tips on insult etiquette for anyone who spots a rogue Trump official in the wild.
After Sarah Huckabee Sanders was refused service at a Virginia restaurant last weekend, the nation has been locked in a debate as to whether or not members of the Trump White House should be held publicly accountable for the administration's wide-ranging awfulness. Representative Maxine Waters waded in, and has received death threats after telling a crowd at a Los Angeles rally that if they see members of the Trump Cabinet "in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station," they should "create a crowd and you push back on them and tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere."
"I agree," says Wolf in her segment. "But you can’t just casually harass these people. You have to insult them specifically." She starts off with assistant to the president, first daughter Ivanka Trump. "If you see Ivanka on the street,” says Wolf. "First, call her Tiffany."
If you spot Mitch McConnell, Wolf says, "smile, then before he can sit down take his chair away and say 'How do you like a seat stolen from you, you flop-neck.'"
Wolf runs through personalized insults for Betsy Devos, Clarence Thomas, and returns to Ivanka for a few more jabs.
"Finally, if you see Kellyanne Conway, then I am so, so sorry," Wolf finishes. "That means you’re going to die in a few days."
