Mick Jagger wows fans with energetic dance moves after heart surgery: 'The king is back'
Nobody’s got moves like Mick Jagger — even after heart surgery.
The Rolling Stones frontman, 75, shared footage from a workout session as he prepares to return to the stage with his iconic band this summer. Let’s just say that the British rock star, who had heart valve replacement surgery in the beginning of April, hasn’t missed a step.
Jagger’s high-energy and fancy footwork were fully on display as he danced to the Wombats’s “Techno Fan.” One line in the song is, “Shut up and move with me, move with me, or, or get out of my face,” which seems fitting related to this display.
And his fans — and fam — were feeling his every step. “The king is back,” “Moves like Jagger” and “This man just had heart surgery lmao what” were some of the comments, as was “God bless the medical profession...and you.”
Even his son Lucas was wowed — and, ya know, 19-year-olds are typically hard to impress.
If things continue to go well, Jagger — a father of eight — and his bandmates will return to the stage this summer to make up the dates that they had to postpone on their No Filter Tour. While no official announcement has been made, there were reports the tour would resume in July.
Jagger has been sharing his recovery on social media. He thanked fans and the hospital after his surgery, and posted a photo of himself out and about a week post-op.
