"You Can't Always Get What You Want," unless of course you want touching tributes from your loved ones. Because that's exactly what Mick Jagger got for his 81st birthday this week!
On Friday, July 26, the Rolling Stones frontman turned another year older, as his bandmates and longtime partner Melanie Hamrick shared personalized Instagram tributes to commemorate his big day.
For her post, Hamrick — who has been dating the rocker since 2014 — shared a carousel of images featuring a snazzy mirror selfie with the music icon (which they likely took this week ahead of an Olympics event), a shot of Jagger holding their son Deveraux's hand backstage at a concert and a cute, candid image of her fixing Jagger's tie as they got ready for a formal outing together.
The last photo in her post showed Hamrick, Jagger, and 7-year-old Deveraux all smiling for a selfie while on vacation, as Jagger's son wore an adorable backwards Rolling Stones baseball cap.
"Happy Birthday babe !! We love you ?? ??," Hamrick captioned the post.

Jagger also received some birthday love from the official Rolling Stones Instagram account, as well as shoutouts from bandmates Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards. The official page for the late Charlie Watts also wished Jagger a "happy birthday" on Friday.
"Join us in wishing @mickjagger a very happy birthday today! ??," the Rolling Stones wrote, alongside a photo of Jagger on stage. "Hope you have the best day Mick! ??"

For Wood's part, the 77-year-old guitarist uploaded a throwback image of himself and Jagger in flamboyant red attire from decades ago, along with the caption: "????? Wishing a very happy 81st birthday to Mick!"
As for Richards, Jagger's longtime songwriting partner uploaded a black-and-white image of the two smiling together with a guitar on a diving board. "Happy Birthday, Mick! Love, Keith," he wrote.
Jagger has a lot to be thankful for as he ushers in another year — including a new addition to the family!
On Tuesday, June 18, the musician's daughter Georgia May Jagger — whom he shares with ex Jerry Hall — announced on Instagram that she's going to be a mom and is expecting her first baby with her skateboarder boyfriend, Cambryan Sedlick. "Patiently waiting for our new best friend @cambryans," she captioned a post in which she revealed the baby news.
The Stones also just wrapped their Hackney Diamonds tour, which kicked off in Houston in April and ended earlier this month with a gig in Ridgedale, MO. Earlier this week, the Rolling Stones frontman shared a compilation video of clips from their latest stint on the road, soundtracked by the band's 2023 track "Whole Wide World."
"Thanks so much to everyone that has come to see us on this tour, we had an absolute blast," Jagger wrote. "See you soon!"
The group's official account also shared a message with fans after the final gig, offering "a huge thank you to everyone that has come to see a show!"
"And special thanks to all the outstanding musicians that join the Stones onstage, plus every crew member that works so hard to make this happen ??," the band wrote.
