Miranda Lambert, Backstreet Boys Lead Most Memorable ACM Awards Performances
Country music’s biggest stars rocked Las Vegas Sunday night at the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards. The show opened with a medley of performances by stars like Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, and Entertainer of the Year winner Jason Aldean. Florida Georgia Line were also a part of the opening, but their big performance was at the end of the night when they were joined by the Backstreet Boys to sing “God, Your Mama, and Me” and “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
While FGL and BSB was a lot of fun, one of the best performances of the night was Miranda Lambert‘s emotional “Tin Man.” It was a big night for Miranda, as she also won Female Vocalist and Album of the Year.
Other big performances included Chris Stapleton, Brett Eldredge, and New Female Vocalist of the Year Maren Morris. Maren also hit the stage for a more upbeat performance with Thomas Rhett, and they were just one of many duets of the night. Carrie Underwood went toe-to-toe with Keith Urban singing “The Fighter,” Tim McGraw and Faith Hill taught people how to “Speak to a Girl,” and finally, Reba McEntire was joined by Christian artist Lauren Daigle to give the world “Back to God.”
