Miranda Lambert Breaks Silence After Breaking Up Fight Among Fans Mid-Concert
After smoothly pausing a recent performance to break up a fight between fans in the crowd, Miranda Lambert shared one major tip for people who like her music but want to fight at her concerts.
Lambert took to social media to address the viral moment, beginning a new video by admitting, "If you want to fight at my shows, I'm all about it." But she had one major stipulation, sharing a handful of songs that she felt were more appropriate for a fight than "Tin Man," which she was singing when the recent fight broke out.
"I've got five songs for you: 'Fastest Girl in Town,' 'Kerosene,' 'Little Red Wagon,' 'Wranglers,' 'Gunpowder & Lead,'" she went on, before bluntly declaring, "Don't do it during 'Tin Man.' That's not the time."
Lambert concluded the video by saying, "Pick your times. You've got five songs. Look at the setlist and choose wisely," before giving fans a final wink.
Fans loved Lambert's cheeky response and fully supported her argument about the song "Tin Man," with replies in the comments like, "Don’t ruin Tin Man, my Jam????," "agree 100% DON’T ever mess with Tin Man ??," and "Fighting during Tin Man should be a felony."
"This is the greatest PSA I’ve ever seen," said another, while someone else reacted, "This is the best ????. Have some respect for Tin Man people."
The support went on, with one fan calling Lambert "legendary," as another declared, "Y’all plz listen to the...queen and fight when she says it’s okay to do so sheesh????."
Lambert's video is a direct response to an incident at a recent Texas concert when some women in the crowd started fighting mid-performance. The country songstress paused her song to highlight the altercation and asked security to have the people removed so she could get on with the show.
