Miranda Lambert shows off shirtless husband Brendan McLoughlin: 'Who looks like this after holidays in Texas?'
It’s getting hot in Miranda Lambert’s kitchen!
The country star, 36, shared an Instagram video on Friday of her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, cooking up a meal in the kitchen, with his washboard abs on display.
Jokingly calling McLoughlin her “house husband,” Lambert slyly approached her man as he sung along to Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’Mine.” Spatula in hand, McLoughlin looked up and laughed when his wife caught him shirtless holding a casserole dish.
“Happy 2020 y’all! This is our last Friday night off for a bit!” Lambert wrote in the post. “House husband shirtless promo volume 4. @sweetchildofmine #nocougarjokesplease...”
The singer also joked about her husband’s perfect physique despite the typical post-holiday malaise. “(P.S. who looks like this after holidays in Texas? We ate a s**t ton of Tex Mex. WTH?)” she wrote.
Lambert noted that she’s gearing up for life on the road. “Starting rehearsals for the #Wildcard tour with @codyjohnson and @lancomusic Kicking off on 1/16 in Tupelo MS! See y’all out there!”
This isn’t the first time Lambert has posted sneaky shots of her husband, a New York police officer. Lambert is known for sneaking up on her hubby as he does work around the house. Back in July, she surprised him as he did laundry.
“Babe? Hello?” she can be heard saying in the video as she walks up behind McLoughlin.
“C’mon, really?” he replied.
The couple met when Lambert appeared on Good Morning America in 2018, where McLoughlin was working security, and her Pistol Annies bandmates Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley managed to get the duo together.
“My girlfriends, the Annies, saw him and knew I might be ready to hang out with someone,” Lambert told the New York Times in October. “They invited him to our show behind my back. They plucked him for me. My security guy Tom, he was in on it too. He said to me, ‘He’s here. And he’s pretty.’”
