Miranda Lambert's Husband Shows Off NSFW Wardrobe Malfunction at the ACMs
Brendan McLoughlin and Miranda Lambert attend the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards at Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star on May 16, 2024, in Frisco, Texas.
Miranda Lambert’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin, had a rather awkward wardrobe malfunction at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards in Frisco, Texas. Luckily for McLoughlin, his awards show attire lasted until the evening was nearly over.
Lambert and McLoughlin, who have been married since 2019, joined the steady stream of celebrities posing for photographers on the red carpet after arriving at the Ford Center at The Star for the 59th annual ACMs on Thursday, May 16.
“The House That Built Me” singer wowed fans as she showed off a stunning black gown that featured a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit. Her husband matched her in his snazzy black suit and shiny black tie. A silver flower pin McLoughlin wore on his lapel also featured a blue embellishment that matched Lambert’s jewelry.

In a Friday, May 17 Instagram post, the former New York Police Department officer shared a head-to-toe view of what his awards show attire looked like before the ceremony kicked off. But in the second photo included in his post, McLoughlin revealed that his pants didn't survive the evening intact.
In the photo, McLoughlin looked down at his pants while sheepishly gesturing toward the crotch area, where his pants appeared to have somehow ripped at the seams.
“Fun times were had last night at the @acmawards with @mirandalambert," McLoughlin wrote in his Instagram caption. "Pants held on until the very end ????.”
The incident was quite fitting for the night known as “country music’s party of the year.” Lambert, the most-awarded ACMs artist in the awards show’s history, wasn’t among this year’s list of nominees. However, she did join the ceremony’s star-studded list of performers as she brought her new hit single “Wranglers” to the stage. She released an extended version of the May 3 single to coincide with her ACMs performance.
