The Muppets and Riverdale collided online in a social media mash-up of epic proportions.

On Tuesday, Riverdale’s very own Betty Cooper, actress Lili Reinhart, tweeted her dismay about the long-troubled (and possibly emotionally abusive) relationship between Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog. “Dear diary,” she wrote, “I’m still thinking about how Miss Piggy walks all over Kermit. And he lets her! It’s so messed up, diary.”

Not one to sit idly by while people cast aspersions on her porcine dating habits, Miss Piggy responded to Reinhart on Wednesday with a counter-tweet of her own that references Reinhart’s costar Cole Sprouse (the on-screen couple is rumored to be one off-screen as well). The Muppets star wrote, “Tell your diary that moi has moved on from walking over the frog. I’m looking for someone new. You got @colesprouse’s number?”

Sprouse quickly jumped into the fray as well, writing “Ladies please” to head off any potential feud between the two blonde television stars.

Reinhart has yet to reply to Miss Piggy, so we’ll just have to wait and see who might win Sprouse’s heart in this television romance battle. But remember one thing, ladies:
