Mississippi Fairgrounds Announces new artists scheduled for 2024 Dixie National Rodeo
Former "American Idol" contestant Colin Stough along with Conner Smith will perform live Friday, Feb. 9, at the upcoming 59th annual Dixie National Rodeo, the Mississippi State Fairgrounds has announced.
Colin Stough, who is from Amory, was a contestant on the past season of "American Idol" and made it to the Top 3 as a finalist.
The 59th Annual Dixie National Rodeo returns next year Feb. 9 through 17 and tickets are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com and https://www.dixienational.org.
The Dixie National Rodeo, produced by Harper & Morgan Rodeo, is billed as the largest professional rodeo east of the Mississippi River.
“We are excited to announce this year’s entertainment lineup for the annual Dixie National Rodeo,” said Andy Gipson Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce. “As we’ve seen shows sell out quickly in years past, I encourage the public to purchase their tickets in advance.”
Jameson Rodgers was previously scheduled to perform Feb. 9, and fans who purchased tickets prior to the artist change announcement can request a refund at the point of purchase up until the scheduled event performance time, organizers said.
