Late last year, Mitski performed a series of intimate shows during which she performed The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We in its entirety. The brief run included stops in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, and Mexico City, where she told the audience: “You all have been so lovely and supportive, and I wanted to show my deep gratitude to you by coming here first, before anywhere else.”
