Molly Parker Is Amnesic Doc Who Wants to Get Her Life Back in Fox Drama Trailer
In a new trailer for the midseason Fox drama Doc, Molly Parker’s titular Amy Larsen is anxious to return to her work as a healer — soon as she is done being a patient, having lost eight years of memories in a car wreck.
Executive-produced by showrunner Barbie Kligman (Private Practice, Magnum P.I.), Hank Steinberg (Without a Trace, The Last Ship) and Erwin Stoff and on track for a January 2025 premiere, Doc stars Parker (House of Cards, Deadwood) as Dr. Amy Larsen, the “hard-charging” and “brilliant” Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis.

When a brain injury erases the last eight years of Amy’s life, she “must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves, or the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away,” the official synopsis tells us. “She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.”
Doc also stars Omar Metwally (Big Sky), Amirah Vann (How To Get Away With Murder), Jon Ecker (Queen of the South) and Anya Banerjee (The Blacklist), while Scott Wolf (Party of Five) and Patrick Walker (Lessons In Chemistry) will recur in featured roles.
