Monica Garcia is handing in her snowflake after one season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
People reported on Tuesday, January 23, that Garcia would not be returning to the Bravo show following the bombshell reveal that she was part of the Reality Von Tease Instagram account that targeted Jen Shah (who is currently serving a prison sentence for fraud) and other cast members, including Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow. The announcement comes hours before Garcia is set to make her final Housewives appearance during part 3 of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion.
Us Weekly has reached out to Bravo, but the network is not commenting on casting at this time.
Earlier this month, Andy Cohen exclusively told Us that it was “too early to speculate” about Garcia's possible return to the show.
The ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Stars React to Monica Garcia’s Reality Von Tease Bombshell
“I think one of the great things about the reunions is that it’s a chance for people to say their piece and kind of appeal to their castmates if they’ve been ostracized,” the Bravo boss, 55, said, teasing the RHOSLC reunion at the time. “I think it’s a conversation to be had after the reunion airs and see where people are at — fans and castmates.”
Garcia joined the RHOSLC ladies for season 4 of the series, which premiered in September 2023. The formerly unassuming cast member made waves during the season 4 finale — which aired on January 2 — when Garcia was unmasked as one of the multiple people behind the Reality Von Tease Instagram account. She was quick to admit to her involvement in the troll account after Gay’s hairstylist (and Garcia’s former friend) Tenesha Luckett confirmed Garcia had access to the Instagram.
“I have your perfect formula: receipts, proof, timeline, screenshots, f—king everything to prove that you are a f—king bully and a f—king troll and you do not deserve to be at this table or anywhere near any of us for the way you’ve treated us!” Gay yelled at Garcia during the finale. “Every single one of us has woken up in fear for the s—t that you posted!”
Garcia said that the account was “never just one person” during her confessional.
“It wasn’t just me,” she added. “There were several other humans involved, but bottom line, our mission was to take down Jen. The other women were just collateral damage.”

Garcia concluded the episode revealing that she “knew” this information would come to light, adding, “Even Gossip Girl couldn’t stay Gossip Girl forever."
Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Bravo Tuesday, January 23, at 8 p.m. ET.
