Morgan Wallen Provides Health Update as He's Forced to Cancel Handful of Shows
Morgan Wallen gave fans an update on Friday, July 12, after announcing that he needed to cancel his next few concerts.
The country music star most recently performed in Tampa, Fla., on Thursday, July 11, and was expected to perform in the city again on Friday. However, that Friday concert, as well as two scheduled shows next week in Charlotte, N.C., are no longer happening as planned.
In an update that the “Last Night” singer posted on X, formerly Twitter, he explained that plans for the concerts had changed because he was not feeling well.
“I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today,” Wallen, 31, tweeted.

The “Whiskey Glasses” singer stressed his commitment to giving fans his best performance possible. As a result, he and his team decided to reschedule the July 12, 18 and 19 shows.
“I would not give you guys anywhere near 100% tonight and as a result, I need to move tonight's Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week's Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19,” his post said.

Wallen did not provide fans with any further details regarding the nature of his illness. The canceled shows were already removed from his website’s tour page by Friday afternoon, pushing his next scheduled concert to July 25, when he is expected to headline AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Wallen kicked off his One Night at a Time tour in early April. While the U.S. leg of his tour was due to end in August with back-to-back nights at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, his rescheduled dates will see him return after his tour takes a spin through select cities in Europe and the United Kingdom.
