It’s Motive, Opportunity, and Murder on the August 27 Bold and the Beautiful

Luna reveals all.
Luna reveals all.

Lisa Yamada continued to shine in the Tuesday, August 27 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Luna “entertained” a caged Steffy with all the details of why she did what she did, from paternity to poisoning Hollis.

Confession Session

Luna (Lisa Yamada) is cold as ice. She literally detailed everything she did to Bill (Don Diamont — who talks about Bill and Katie’s future), Tom (Clint Howard), and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers), and it looked like she didn’t even care. She even framed her mom! She is a psychopath, which makes us wonder how she was able to be a nice and innocent Luna for so long.

And all Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could do was listen and react in a horrified manner. From what Luna revealed:

  • Li (Naomi Matsuda) was on the up and up. She despises her sister’s golddigger ways, which is why she showed up with another paternity test. However, according to Luna, it was the same exact paternity test that Poppy (Romy Park) bought (how convenient). All Luna had to do was slip in and switch the completed test with the rigged one. Suddenly, Bill became Luna’s bio dad.

  • She secretly entered Il Giardino and poisoned Tom’s iced blue sports drink.

  • Looking like Janet Jackson circa her Rhythm Nation era, Luna faced Hollis, who had Tom’s backpack. The trusting, excited bartender was no match for a cold, calculated Luna. She sent him on a wild goose chase, and then when he returned, he drank the laced beverage. So sad for Hollis to go out so stupidly.

  • Luna hasn’t given us enough of a description of the way she grew up with Poppy, who moved them constantly. There had to be something beyond horrible to create this monster before us. Hopefully, B&B will give us more.

  • And the sick, broken woman will let Steffy die in the abandoned building because it’s about to be destroyed (although Steffy does try to break free herself).

Part of us wishes Luna had never actually murdered Tom and Hollis because the Luna we have now could be more than a match for somebody her age. She’s a golddigger. She’ll do anything to get her way. And she feels entitled to have it all because of how she grew up.

Plus, she’s clearly obsessed with Bill and will have him in whichever way she can. Instead of replacing her mom with Bill, the fact that she’s obsessed with having a billionaire father is much more interesting.

However, what was the purpose of bringing back Jack (Ted King) and Justin (Aaron D. Spears)? Were they just around to throw us off Luna’s scent? Because if that’s the case, let’s hope the show isn’t done with them just yet. Both actors are wonderful and can contribute a lot to a canvas that needs more people. They can mix it up with the best of them.

In other news, miss us with Liam (Scott Clifton) acting judgmental with Finn (Tanner Novlan). Until he fesses up to his secret kisses with Steffy and all the chaos that those could cause, he needs to keep his mouth shut.

What did you think of what Luna told Steffy today? How about Liam and Finn’s conversation? Let us know below in the comments.
