‘Motown: The Musical’ Star Dazzles on ‘Little Big Shots’

Nathaniel Cullors appeared on Little Big Shots Sunday night, and the young Motown singer — who’s been compared to Michael Jackson because of his Jackson 5 vocal pitch, look, and moves — brought out the swagger of the King Pop from the moment he stepped on stage. Nathaniel sang the classic Jackson 5 song “Who’s Lovin’ You?” with such conviction, you would believe the little man really wants to know.

Little Big Shots isn’t marketed as a talent competition, and Nathaniel is no amateur. He’s currently playing the roles of young Berry Gordy, Michael Jackson, and little Stevie Wonder in Motown: The Musical, on Broadway.

The musical is based on the story of Gordy’s founding and running of the Motown record label and his personal and professional relationships with such Motown artists as Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, and Michael Jackson.

Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
