Movie about 'Cosmo Girl' Helen Gurley Brown in the works at Fox

Mouseburgers, get ready. Fox has optioned Brooke Hauser’s upcoming book on legendary Cosmopolitan editor Helen Gurley Brown, Enter Helen: The Rise And Reign Of The Original Cosmo Girl, EW has confirmed.
According to Deadline, which first reported the news, the film will be produced by Chernin Entertainment.
Brown’s seminal book of advice Sex and the Single Girl was adapted into a film starring Natalie Wood in 1964. Lena Dunham once again emphasized Brown’s influence by citing her book Having It All in her memoir Not That Kind of Girl.
