Mt. Sequoyah announces free fall concert series

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Mount Sequoyah’s Music on the Mountain Series in Fayetteville features three free outdoor concerts this fall.

Funded by an Arkansas Heritage Grant, the series starts on Sept. 6 and continues until Oct. 26, showcasing Arkansas musicians playing Ozark and Americana-inspired music, according to a news release.

Sept. 6: Meadow Makers perform at Vesper Point, alongside an art exhibition by Helen Kwiatkowski in Sequoyah Hall.

Oct. 4: Emmy-nominated composer Amos Cochran will perform at Millar Lodge.

Oct. 26: The duo Adorners will close the series with a performance at Clapp Auditorium, highlighting Arkansas folklore and storytelling.

In addition to music, the series will offer an option to add a pizza to free ticket registrations and a donation bar with beer, wine and seltzers.
