How Much Money Lindsay Hubbard Lost on Canceled Wedding
The first installment of the Summer House reunion was the first time that Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke saw each other for quite some time since he broke off the engagement. It was abundantly clear that there was no love lost between them. Neither party regrets the split in retrospect.
However, the practicalities of calling off the wedding are still an issue of contention. It’s hard to move on when someone has to cover all those last-minute cancellation fees.
“Lawyer discussions” are involved
The former publicist talked numbers during Part 1 of the Season 8 reunion, then re-addressed the subject on June 4’s episode of Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.
“I lost $25 to $30,000 in wedding deposits before the cancelation,” Lindsay revealed. “Now he had to pay a lot of cancelation fees, especially since he waited so long.”
Carl called the wedding off at the end of the summer, just months before their scheduled wedding in November 2023. His ex-fiance is still expecting to be paid back for covering some of those expenses.
Lindsay told the podcast host that she is still waiting to be paid back. It’s gotten to the point that “lawyer discussions” are involved, but the veteran Bravolebrity didn’t disclose further details.
Indeed, the duo got into a fight about financials during the reunion episode that aired last week. The Loverboy returning employee complained about also having to continue paying the lease on their apartment. It culminated in Lindsay asking Carl if he wanted “a pat on the back” for acting responsibly on the matter.
Most importantly, neither Lindsay nor Carl regret how their relationship ended. The greatest form of closure is making sure you’re not financially indebted to anyone.
The issue of whether they will manage to film Season 9 together next summer.
