Must List: Catch up on this year's Emmy nominees

The nominees for the 2012 Emmy Awards were announced on July 19, and what better way to spend your weekend than catching up on the shows that you missed. We found a few ways you might be able to get up to speed on some of our favorite nominees.

Downton Abbey — Amazon Instant has the second season of Downton available for streaming (and the DVD has been available since February). The show is also on iTunes, and Netflix has season 1.

Breaking Bad — Season 4 is available on Amazon Instant, iTunes and Netflix. (As are all previous seasons.)

Mad Men — Amazon Instant and iTunes both have season 5, while seasons 1 through 4 can be seen on Netflix.

Sherlock — Like its fellow PBS nominee Downton, the second season of the updated Sherlock can be found on iTunes and Amazon Instant, with Netflix streaming the first season.

Others — Short of subscribing to HBO, you are out of luck on most of its nominees — including, Girls, Veep, Boardwalk Empire, and Game of Thrones. (Although earlier seasons of Boardwalk and Thrones are available on iTunes/Amazon Instant — as is the current Emmy-nominated Curb Your Enthusiasm season.)

Hulu has a few episodes of Modern Family and 30 Rock available for free and you can watch several episodes of The Big Bang Theory on CBS.com. But if you want to watch Homeland, paying for Showtime is your best bet.
