Naomi Judd gives update on Ashley Judd and reveals plans to take her stitches out personally
Naomi Judd appeared Thursday on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where she provided an update on her daughter Ashley Judd. Ashley recently suffered a "catastrophic" leg injury while traveling in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She is now back in the United States and is recovering from a grueling seven-hour surgery. Fortunately, Ashley has her mother to take care of her.
“She's very courageous, and she's healing, said Naomi. “It's really hard to see her like this, but she lives next door. So I'm going to go up and take her stitches out when we're done because I used to be a nurse before I became a singer.”
The Judds are a very close family, so perhaps Naomi removing Ashley’s stitches isn’t as unusual as it sounds?
Naomi also offered her medical services to host Andy Cohen. She offered to give him a prostate exam at some point, which he happily accepted.
Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen airs Sun-Thurs on Bravo.
