Naomi Watts tries out hip-hop class in 'While We're Young' trailer
Naomi Watts and Ben Stiller are a middle-aged couple in While We’re Young, and they’re starting to feel like a middle-aged couple—so they deal with that by befriending a couple of 25-year-olds played by Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried.
Driver and Seyfried’s characters take hallucinogens and go to shows heavy on the strobe lights. They wear quirky clothing and write on typewriters. Driver accompanies Stiller on bike rides and Seyfried takes Watts to a surprise hip-hop dance class. In other words, they’re spontaneous and strange while their new, older friends are not.
While We’re Young was written and directed by Noah Baumbach, who also wrote and directed 2012’s Frances Ha starring Greta Gerwig and 2010’s Greenberg, which also starred Gerwig and Stiller. The film arrives in theaters in April 2015.
