Napoleon Apple TV+ Release Date Set for Ridley Scott’s Latest Historical Epic

The official Napoleon Apple TV+ release date for Ridley Scott‘s newest historical drama has been revealed, after over two months since its theatrical release.

When will Napoleon stream?

According to Variety, the Joaquin Phoenix-led biographical drama will start streaming on Friday, March 1 on Apple TV+. During its theatrical run, the film earned a worldwide gross of over $219 million at the box office. It is currently nominated for three Oscars, including Best Production Design, Best Costume Design and Best Visual Effects.

“Napoleon is a spectacle-filled action epic that details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte,” reads the synopsis. “Against a stunning backdrop of large-scale filmmaking orchestrated by legendary director Ridley Scott, the film captures Bonaparte’s relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his one true love, Josephine, showcasing his visionary military and political tactics against some of the most dynamic practical battle sequences ever filmed.”

Napoleon was directed by Scott from a screenplay written by David Scarpa. Joining Phoenix are Vanessa Kirby, Tahar Rahim, Ben Miles, Ludivine Sagnier, Matthew Needham, Youssef Kerkour, Phil Cornwell, and more. It was produced by Scott and Kevin Walsh for Scott Free.
