Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka Celebrate 12 Years Together on a Romantic Getaway to Canada

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka celebrated their 12th anniversary Canada- style.

The lovebirds, who started dating in 2004 and tied the knot a decade later (once the Marriage Equality Act was passed in New York), jetted off to British Columbia to celebrate over a decade of togetherness. The one-time How I Met Your Mother star documented their getaway on Instagram, posting clips from a helicopter ride over the beautiful landscape.

“Our anniversary adventure begins,” NPH captioned the video.

The parents of two also took a walk through the woods, a dip in hot springs, and a stroll on the beach.

“So tranquil. So relaxed. So happy. @dbelicious is the best,” read the next clip.
