Netflix reveals title and release date of Luther movie
Netflix has revealed that the long-awaited Luther movie will be called Luther: The Fallen Sun.
The film version of the hit BBC crime series about DCI John Luther (Idris Elba) has been in the pipeline for some time and most details have been under wraps.
But the streaming service shared the name and some new images as it confirmed the film would be out in March next year.

A new snap from the film shared on Twitter shows Luther looking startled, as he holds his hands up in what looks like a bid to fend someone off.
Another shows the detective looking worried as he treks through the snow, clad in a shirt and tie and his familiar long coat.

Luther started in 2010 and there have been five series of the psychological crime thriller so far.
The TV show has been a huge hit and has won a raft of awards, and there was talk of a film for a long time before Netflix finally confirmed that it was on its way.
Fans could barely contain their excitement after Netflix shared the new details.
One tweeted: "Ooooooooo em gee! I cannot wait!!!"
"So very happy about this, it’s no secret I really really love this show!" said another pleased viewer.
One person said that the release date was "WAAAY sooner than I was actually expecting", adding: "Can't wait for this one!"
"So excited!" tweeted another fan.
Somebody else posted: "With the news of the #Luther movie coming in March, I'm starting a rewatch.
