Newscasters Quoting Movies Hilariously Featured on 'Last Week Tonight'
On Sunday’s Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, one of the show’s recurring “And Now This” segments featured a supercut of newscasters quoting movies.
Some of the classic lines included “to infinity and beyond” from Toy Story and “Bond, James Bond” from the 007 franchise. And then there are the movie lines that seem to get repeated by so many newscasters. “Say hello to my little friend” of Scarface fame, “Get to the choppa” from Predator, and “Alright, alright, alright” from Dazed and Confused seem to be some of the most popular.
Later in the show a second segment of newscasters quoting movies was featured, and it was devoted to MSNBC’s Chris Matthews. Let’s just say, he really loves his movie quotes.
