NFL Will Air Domestic Violence PSA During the Super Bowl
This will be a Super Bowl with an unforgettable message.
Beyond the expensive and sexed-up commercials featuring celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Charlotte McKinney and the Victoria's Secret Angels, there is one PSA from the No More campaign that will leave you with chills on Sunday.
Reportedly based on a true story, a woman calls 911 and pretends to order a pizza when she is unable to say what is really happening in her own home. We see that her house is in a disarray with dishes in the sink, books on the floor and a messy bed. She does her best to remain on the phone with the operator, and we see the sad image of a framed picture of the woman on the ground next to the trash can.
With the words, "When it's hard to talk, it's up to us to listen," the PSA ends.
WATCH: NFL Players Say No More to Domestic Violence
The No More campaign has been featuring domestic violence PSAs during football games after the NFL came under heat when two domestic abuse cases surfaced earlier this season involving Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice. Peterson faced child abuse allegations in September and was released on bond after being indicted. Meanwhile, Rice was suspended was lifted after footage surfaced showing the athlete knocking his then-fiancée unconscious in an elevator. His suspension has since been lifted.
