NFL stars show their hidden talents on 'Most Valuable Performer'
On Most Valuable Performer, a show in which NFL players get a chance to show off their hidden talents, six players competed to become the MVP. Three of the six were from the Baltimore Ravens, proving the Ravens have the most talented team in the NFL … off the field.
Ravens defensive tackle Brandon Williams kicked things off with his performance of “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars. Williams was followed by Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart. Stewart is known as a runner who is just as likely to hit a defender as a defender is to hit him. But he showed his softer side when he sat down at a piano and played Adele’s hit song “Hello.” Ravens running back Alex Collins showed off his touchdown dance, an Irish jig. Cleveland Browns guard Kevin Zeitler performed with his dog, Amber. Given the Browns 1-31 record over the last two seasons, fans were surely rooting hard for Zeitler to bring them a win — any kind of win. And Denver Broncos nose tackle Domata Peko sat down with his acoustic guitar and performed “Wait in Vain” by Bob Marley.
But it was Ravens kicker Justin Tucker who took home the win. He’s most accurate kicker in NFL history — you might say he’s the Pavarotti of kickers. Well, Tucker’s got more in common with Pavarotti than people might think. He’s also a trained opera singer, and he stole the show with a moving rendition of “Ave Maria.”
